The Case Consulting Model: Solving Problems at Sprint Scale
Not every decision needs a six-month project — sometimes it just takes one focused session with the right specialist.
Classic business consulting usually starts with a long-term contract and defined phases. But many real business decisions aren't like that: a pricing decision, choosing between two suppliers, or evaluating a new opportunity usually needs to be made within days, not months.

How case consulting works
In this model, one or a few focused sessions are held with the relevant specialist. The input is a specific question; the output is written analysis with options and a clear recommendation — not a hundred-page general report.
When it fits
- When the decision has a firm, urgent timeline
- When you need an outside expert opinion, not a full business redesign
- When you want to pressure-test an idea before committing to a bigger project
A bridge to a bigger engagement
In many cases, case consulting becomes the starting point of a longer engagement; once the client realizes the issue is more structural than a single decision, the work shifts into project-based business consulting.
